THIS CAMPUS

Story time. This was not an easy campaign to concept. I remember being so angry and frustrated because nothing we were doing was working. I left a concepting meeting at the end of the day, and then all of a sudden, I had this idea for the script. I ran back to my desk and wrote something, then emailed it to the guy in charge for review. The next morning, he ran to my desk and said, “WE NEED TO TALK ABOUT THIS.” Terrified, I followed him into his office, and he says, “I added two words. What do you think?” and he read it out loud and I said “wow” and we called our video guy to get rolling.

These spots speak to those students who want to go back to school, who talk about doing it, but haven’t actually pulled the trigger on it yet. The students in the video are telling them it’s time to make the move, because it can change their lives. They would know—they did it, too.

These spots received a gold Marcom award in October 2018.
